The folder includes two copies of Steve Reich's "Writings About Music", a typewritten copy of the concert order, typewritten program notes, press release "American Composer Steve Reich to give the first concerts of his work in Houston", copies of articles about Steve Reich and about the Houston concert, and a chapel setup diagram. The folder also includes two black and white publicity photos of Reich (one in his studio, one in performance on a wooden stage, not the chapel).

Abstract
The program included five pieces: Four Organs, Piano Phase, Clapping Music, Music for Mallet Instruments, Voices, and Organ, and Drumming. This was the first performance of Reich's music in Houston. Steve Reich performed on four of the five pieces (not Piano Phase).
