Â This American poet and author has written fourteen volumes of poetry, a study of the painter Edward Hopper, and a collection of essays on contemporary poetry. Winner of numerous prizes for his writing as well as NEA fellowships, Taggart’s Is Music: Selected Poems was recognized as one of the most important poetry books of 2010.
