Abstract

Includes the song "14 Black Paintings". This was inspired by 14 paintings in the Rothko Chapel. Guitarist David Rhodes took Gabriel there while he was touring the US. Gabriel felt the spirituality of the song matched the paintings, which were dedicated to human and civil rights.
