Abstract

Satmitar Khalsa, Sikh Tradition Suggested donation $10

Native Houstonian Satmitar Khalsa leads participants in a meditation, titled "Experiencing our Light," which focuses awareness on the vibration of sound through simple chanting. This practice allows participants the opportunity to refresh their consciousness with every breath. Khalsa is a specialist in education, spirituality, and ethics, in addition to being a Kundalini Yoga teacher. The series is co-sponsored by Ligmincha Texas Institute, The Jung Center of Houston, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the Rothko Chapel.
