Abstract

American poet Cyrus Cassells, recognized with numerous awards for his poetry, will read from his most recent book, The Crossed-Out Swastika. In describing the book, Library Journal said, “Cassells is a passionate poet whose poems touch the core of human connection through which can flow union with the infinite.” The Crossed-Out Swastika follows the lives of young people and historical characters caught in the maelstrom of World War II.

A book signing and reception for the public will follow the program.
