Abstract

Dana Gillespie, Shantilah Shah, Meera Iyengar, Neil Potdar

During this intimate concert, renowned vocalist Dana Gillespie will interweave stories about her relationship with spiritual teacher Sathya Sai Baba into interpretations of traditional Indian devotional songs, accompanied by a tabla and harmonium. The program will reflect the unity of all faiths and the practice of five universal human values: love, truth, right conduct, peace and non-violence. Sai Baba, who recently passed away, was a universal spiritual teacher whose core message was to love and serve all. Gillespie is a multi-award winning and British Blues Hall of Fame artist with over 60 albums to her credit.
