Abstract

Celebration of the First Amendment

The Greater Houston Area Chapter of Americans United for Separation of Church and State presents a program celebrating religious freedom and featuring two student plaintiffs who successfully achieved recognition of their rights to religious expression. One is a Catholic boy banned from wearing rosary beads and the other is a Native American forced to cut his hair upon entering kindergarten.
