Abstract
Jerry Ruhl, Ph.D., Modern Meditation
Suggested donation $10
Everybody has creative power, inner fire, a divine spark. The tragedy is that too often we stifle this power by not believing or squandering it. Creative power does not come from ambition; in fact, ambition injures it and makes it a nervous strain. Creative power is the most enduring part of us, and it should be kept alive in all people for all their lives. This program will focus on letting go of egotism (fear and self-preservation) to open to creative power, imagination. Jerry M. Ruhl, Ph.D. is a psychologist, lecturer, and author. The series is co-sponsored by Ligmincha Texas Institute, The Jung Center of Houston, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Rothko Chapel.
