Abstract

Presented in partnership with Houston Interfaith Worker Justice Center

This interfaith prayer service will celebrate workers and highlight the sacred link between faith, work, and justice. Labor Day is an appropriate time for those in the religious community and the labor movement not only to celebrate working people and their contributions to our society, but to remember the struggles that workers endured ans still endure to achieve the many benefits we now enjoy and take for granted.
