Da Camera Young Artists’ Concerts

To celebrate the Houston Museum District Association's Museum Experience, the Rothko Chapel hosts a day full of events in conjunction with The Menil Collection and Houston Center for Photography. From 11am - 12pmjoin a tai chi class near the Rothko Chapel reflecting pool led by Henderson Smith. At 2pm, 2:45pm, and 3:30pmexperience musical performance of No 11 (re), 2015 by Da Camera Young Artists. The dark Rothko paintings created for Rothko Chapel and the sonic world of Rothko’s fellow New York School member Earle Brown inspire a new work by Da Camera Young Artist Shane Monds.
