Abstract
Pierre Claver Mbonimpa, recipient of the Rothko Chapel 2017 Oscar Romero Award (ORA), spoke on November 13 in McCoy Auditorium about the necessity of fighting for human rights around the world. Mbonimpa, a native of Burundi, Africa, detailed the political violence and genocide that occurs every 11 years in his country.
