Abstract

Lidney Molnari, Quaker Tradition Suggested donation $10

The Quaker (Society of Friends) movement began as an attempt to recover the spirit of early Christianity, and continues to value direct spiritual experience over outward rites and symbols. Quakers trust that each person has an “inner light” that allows them to have direct access to the Divine. Please join us to sit in expectant silence waiting and listening to discover what may arise. Lidney Molnari is an active member and associate clerk at Live Oak Friends Meeting. The series is co-sponsored by Ligmincha Texas Institute, The Jung Center of Houston, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Rothko Chapel.
