Glamorous crowd at The Menil celebrate Tom Ford Stylish candlelight event raises more than $100,000 for the museum, toasts store opening

A parade of glamorous ones in Tom Ford attire strolled into the Menil Collection for an exclusive dinner celebrating the opening of the new Tom Ford flagship store in the River Oaks District.

Becca Cason Thrash, who hosted the chic, candlelight affair, floated through the crowd in a sleek, black gown that Ford designed for her. Others were equally elegant. OliverMcMillan CEO Dene Oliver, who developed the recently opened River Oaks District, looked dashing in Tom Ford eyewear, while Duyen Huynh sparkled in a Ford sequin mini dress. Recommended Video

Thrash's party, in which more than 100 guests paid $1,000 each, not only celebrated the city's first Tom Ford store and gave an excuse for guests to break out their Tom Ford best, but it also raised more than $100,000 for the Menil.
