Nuns Samani Sanmati Pragya Ji and Samani Jayant Pragya Ji. Have you ever wanted to explore the role spiritual practices can play in fostering compassion in your personal actions? Don’t miss this opportunity to absorb Jainism’s ancient wisdom on nonviolence in the sacred space of the Rothko Chapel. Nuns from the Jain Vishwa Bharati lead a dharma talk on the teaching of ahimsa, or nonviolence, followed by an extended meditation. Samani Sanmati Pragya holds masters in Sanskrit and Jain philosophy, and has extensively lectured on Jainism and ahimsa across America, Europe, and Asia. Samani Jayant Pragya holds a master’s in nonviolence and peace research and has also traveled extensively to teach about Jainism, as well as therapeutic healing. A reception follows the program.
