Karen Maezen Miller. How can we access the spiritual in everyday life? Author and Zen Buddhist teacher Karen Maezen Miller shares the wisdom she has gleaned from our natural world, ending with a seated meditation. A former Houstonian, Miller is a priest at the Hazy Moon Zen Center in Los Angeles and the author of several books on finding spirituality in ordinary places. Her most recent is Paradise in Plain Sight: Lessons from a Zen Garden about the lessons of clarity and compassion found in caring for the century-old garden in her backyard.
