A former Houstonian, Miller is a priest at the Hazy Moon Zen Center in Los Angeles and the author of several books on finding spirituality in ordinary places. Her most recent is Paradise in Plain Sight: Lessons from a Zen Garden about the lessons of clarity and compassion found in caring for the century-old garden in her backyard.
