Rothko Chapel and Foundation for Modern Music join the Musicians' Alliance for Peace to honor Music for Peace weekend with a reflective evening of modern chamber music. The program features pianist and Artistic Director of Foundation for Modern Music, Adam Tendler, joined by Houston Symphony violinist Sophia Silivos, and violist conductor Jacob Sustaita performing works by Arvo Pärt, John Cage, James MacMillan, and Toru Takemitsu. The concert will also include the world premiere of Tendler's extended work for amplified pianist, "Autumn Lines," incorporating texts by T'ang Dynasty poet Li Po.
