Abstract

River Oaks Chamber Orchestra

Enjoy the majesty and mystery of Gustav Mahler’s Symphony No. 4 in the Rothko Chapel. This symphony is a spiritual experience, forming the final in the group inspired by Des Knaben Wunderhorn, a book of German folk poems. River Oaks Chamber Orchestra is a 40-piece chamber orchestra with musicians from all over the US and Canada. They are known for their creative collaborations and have world premiered/commissioned 41 pieces these past nine seasons. A reception follows the program.
