Abstract
The Power of Chant: Deepening a Meditation Practice - Janice Rubin
Janice Rubin, Jewish Meditation
Suggested donation $10
For those interested in music and contemplative practice, chanting with intention can open a doorway to a deep inner dimension where we find opportunities for spiritual growth and healing. For over thirty years, Janice Rubin has served as a cantorial soloist, Jewish educator, and facilitator of ritual in Jewish and secular settings. She serves on the national Board of ALEPH: Alliance for Jewish Renewal. Currently, she facilitates a regular meditation and chanting group at Congregation Beth Yeshurun. She is committed to using music as a tool for creating a personal connection with the Divine. The series is co-sponsored by Ligmincha Texas Institute, The Jung Center of Houston, MD Anderson Cancer Center, and the Rothko Chapel.
