Abstract

Ajit Giani, Baha'i Tradition Suggested donation $10

This meditation explores the similarities of prayer and meditation in the Baha’i faith since the former is an expression to the Divine, and the latter is listening to the Divine within each of us. Participants chant prayers in various languages with time in between to meditate and listen to the Divine answer. Ajit Giani is the External Affairs Officer for the Baha’is of Houston, Director at Interfaith Ministries and chair of the refugee task force. The series is co-sponsored by Ligmincha Texas Institute, The Jung Center of Houston, M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, and the Rothko Chapel.
