Abstract
Daniel Mutlu, Jewish Contemplative Service
Suggested donation $10
Congregation Beth Israel Cantor Daniel Mutlu leads a contemplative practice of Jewish worship music. Mutlu earned a Masters in Sacred Music from Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York City and was invested into the Cantorate in 2008. Mutlu also served as Professor of Traditional Nusach at Hebrew Union College. An avid composer and arranger, Mutlu has also premiered original works in Boston, Jerusalem, and New York. He has sung with a number of premier musical organizations and houses of worship, most notably with the Trinity Choir Wall Street where he received two glowing musical reviews from the New York Times for solo performances. He may be heard on the recently released Naxos eight-disc set of The Complete Haydn Masses.
