Biography

Aziz Shaibani, MD is currently a Chapel Advisor elected in October 2016. He is a practicing Neurologist in Houston who also specializes in Psychiatry. Dr. Shaibani graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1983 and currently practices at Nerve & Muscle Center of Texas and is affiliated with Baylor St Luke's Medical Center, Houston Methodist Hospital and Houston Methodist St John Hospital. He is past president of the National Arab American Medical Association Houston Chapter and currently serves as the President of the Arab-American Educational Foundation and on the Board of Directors of the Arab American National Museum. He spearheaded the fundraising campaign to establish two endowed chairs in Arab Studies at the University of Houston.
